And you will ask me where do I stay in Delhi. I had my sister travelling with me to Delhi so I was extra cautious- you know what I mean! This place is not safe for women. However, I think there is no safe or unsafe place- you need to be extra safe at some places. So what do we do- steer clear of Airbnb setups? The answer is no.
I have stayed in Delhi umpteen number of times to say so. Here are my best stays so far. I was visiting a few artists in Chittaranjan park area in Delhi and had some work to do in South Delhi as well. Plus as I mentioned, I like privacy so shared accommodations are out of question and I am on a budget.
I found this place in Greater Kailash that met my expectations which include:
1. safety and security
2. cleanliness
3. free Wi-Fi
4. comfortable bedding
I had a pleasant stay for 4 days and looked forward to stay here again. The only minus was a small TV and very tiny refrigerator. My sister felt comfy as the property was easy to locate with a huge market nearby. For less than $30, this place was a steal.
